A Message from Master Elliott

Welcome to the Hwa Rang Do^® Phoenix Academy. I am Mr. Tim L. Elliott, the director and Master instructor of the academy and the representative for the World Hwa Rang Do^® Association here in Arizona.

I would first like to give thanks to the Lord Jesus Christ for giving me the opportunity to study the art of Hwa Rang Do^®. The Lord has blessed me with a great teacher in Dr. Joo Bang Lee. He has helped me find the truth in martial arts and has guided me in how I can best teach others of the benefits of this great art form.

Over all the years that I have been instructing students in Hwa Rang Do^®, I have tried my best to pass down the very same traits inherent in the art that were given to me by my teacher, Dr. Lee. Some of these traits are Duty, Honor, Loyalty, and Patience. This martial art, as with any endeavor that includes both physical and mental strength, requires much patience. If a person has enough patience, then that person will learn well.
